Sample Receipt Specialist Full Time Regular E/L Profess-Lab Newark, DE, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 3200 Salary Range: $41,000.00 To $43,000.00 Annually The Sample Coordination (Sample Receipt) Specialist is a key member of QPS’ Bioanalytical Support team, responsible for ensuring that samples and other controlled materials are received, tracked, stored, and returned safely without loss or damage. This role requires comfort with computer systems and databases, as well as the ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. No visa sponsorship (e.g. H‑1B, L‑1, E) will be provided for this active position, now or in the future. Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent or unrestricted basis. The Job Receive, process, store, distribute, track, and return client samples and other controlled materials without loss or damage. Includes: Complete inventory and document discrepancies Receive and reconcile shipped samples with paper manifests and an electronic database Learn and run LIMS (database) for tracking of samples through their life cycle at QPS Import data from varying documents into LIMS using Excel manipulation Review associated documentation to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GLPs, and QPS SOPs. Communicate issues found to Principal Investigator (PI) and to external clients Frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Work Location This job will be 100% QPS-office/facility based Requirements Associate’s degree in related science discipline, Bachelor’s degree preferred High School Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant work experience may be considered Experience in regulated industries preferred Comfort with computer systems and databases (Excel, Watson LIMS) Why You Should Apply Great learning opportunities, especially for those new to the field.
