About the Role The Market Manager is responsible for leading the overall performance and operations of multiple retail locations within an assigned market. This role requires a strong multi-unit leader with sound business judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to drive a consistent, service-focused customer experience across every location in the market. The Market Manager will oversee store leadership development, market-level financial performance, inventory integrity, operational execution, and customer experience while partnering closely with regional and cross-functional leadership. This role carries responsibility for standardizing execution across locations and elevating underperforming stores to market standard. Responsibilities may evolve as business needs change. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, develop, and hold accountable the General Managers and store leadership teams across the market Drive hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management standards consistently across all locations Build a high-performing, accountable leadership bench and support succession and internal growth within the market Establish clear expectations and provide consistent coaching and feedback to store leaders Maintain strong communication across the market regarding priorities, goals, and business updates Model professionalism, ownership, and a customer-focused leadership approach at every location Business Performance Own overall market performance, including sales, labor, expenses, and operational results across all locations Translate broader business goals into clear, actionable plans for each store and its leadership team Monitor key performance indicators by location, identify trends, and drive improvement where results lag Evaluate local market conditions, competition, and customer needs to support business decisions Maintain strong controls around inventory accuracy, shrink, and loss prevention market-wide Multi-Unit Operations Oversee daily operating procedures across all locations and ensure consistency store to store Ensure accurate cash handling, reconciliation, deposits, and reporting at every location Ensure each location remains clean, organized, well maintained, and customer ready Identify facility or operational needs across the market and partner with appropriate teams to resolve them Ensure established policies, procedures, and operating standards are consistently followed at all locations Inventory & Operational Controls Oversee receiving, inventory tracking, reconciliation, and product movement across the market Ensure appropriate inventory levels, product accuracy, and presentation at each location Establish strong operational controls and hold store teams accountable to established procedures Partner with internal teams to support inventory accuracy, risk management, and operational consistency market-wide Ensure required records and documentation are maintained in accordance with company and applicable regulatory standards Customer Experience Champion a consistent, high-quality customer experience across every location in the market Lead by example and coach store teams to deliver approachable, knowledgeable, and efficient service Build strong relationships with customers and the surrounding communities Identify opportunities to improve service, accessibility, and the overall customer journey across the market Support store leaders in resolving escalated customer concerns effectively General Expectations Operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-location, and evolving business environment Travel regularly between locations within the market as business needs require Maintain strong communication and partnership with regional and cross-functional teams Demonstrate sound judgment, ownership, and accountability for market-level business outcomes Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across people, processes, and performance Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the business Qualifications 4+ years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, consumer services, or a similar customer-facing environment, including multi-unit or district-level responsibility Previous responsibility for leading leaders and driving performance across more than one location Strong experience in customer service, team development, and leadership coaching Experience managing inventory, cash controls, labor, and day-to-day operating processes across multiple sites Ability to travel between locations within the assigned market Ability to meet any background, licensing, or eligibility requirements associated with the position Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require Skills & Attributes Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills across multiple teams Demonstrated ability to develop and retain high-performing store leaders Strong business judgment and problem-solving capabilities at a market level High attention to detail and operational discipline Comfortable using retail systems, reporting tools, and standard business technology Ability to manage competing priorities across locations and make effective decisions in a fast-moving environment Equal Opportunity Statement We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace and making employment decisions based on qualifications, merit, and business needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr Alternative Medicine
