IT Manager - Business Systems

Salary: $80,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/IT, Electronics, or another related STEM discipline.
• We require at least 10 years of relevant IT experience in core business systems, preferably in a manufacturing enterprise environment.
• We look for extensive experience leading cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and guiding organizational change.
• We need strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to balance strategic priorities and day-to-day operational needs.
• We expect excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise, and compelling business communications.
• We value demonstrated experience preparing and delivering presentations to senior leadership and executive management.
• We require proven experience developing, managing, and forecasting operational and project budgets.
• We look for strong vendor management and contract oversight experience, including performance management and service delivery governance.
• Preferred knowledge includes enterprise Human Resources and Administration IT systems such as ServiceNow HRSD, UKG/Kronos Workforce Management, SuccessFactors, OpenText Info Archive, SAP ECC, Learning Management, Talent Management, and related business applications.
• Preferred experience includes enterprise application lifecycle management, technology roadmaps, governance, and service delivery best practices.
• Preferred qualifications include leading large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives and digital transformation programs.
• Preferred background includes a strong understanding of organizational goals, business processes, and strategic planning methods.
• Preferred knowledge includes data privacy, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements related to Human Resources and employee data.
• Preferred understanding includes Human Resources, Workforce Management, and Administration business processes, policies, and practices.

• We lead the HR/Admin Unit to ensure streamlined IT operations aligned with the business goals of the GBA Department and the AHM IT Business Unit.
• We plan, coordinate, and direct the activities of the HR/Admin Unit while providing administrative leadership and support for daily operations.
• We collaborate with decision-makers across the organization to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions and services.
• We define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices for the services and applications supported by the HR/Admin Unit.
• We partner with the Department Manager to shape and advance the strategic direction of AHM IT, the Enterprise System Services Division, and the General Business Applications Department.
• We translate organizational objectives into actionable plans and drive execution of divisional and departmental strategies.
• We build strategic partnerships across North America and Honda Global organizations, fostering trust, credibility, and alignment through a deep understanding of business needs.
• We leverage influence, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement to advance enterprise priorities and maximize North America IT objectives.
• We build, develop, and lead high-performing IT teams through coaching, mentoring, talent development, and performance management.
• We promote a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.
• We lead successful delivery of the HR/Admin Unit project portfolio, ensuring annual objectives are met and commitments for schedule, budget, quality, scope, and business value are achieved.
• We provide leadership and governance for the HR/Admin application portfolio, ensuring reliable operations, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement.
• We support enterprise platforms for Human Resources, Administration, Time & Attendance, Talent Management, Learning, Employee Services, and Digital Workflow processes.
• We partner with business leaders to define priorities, develop technology roadmaps, manage service delivery, and drive innovation that improves organizational effectiveness and user experience.
