Analyst, Genesis Business Operations

Job Title

Responsibilities include but not limited to: complete invoice processing, complete purchase requests and change notice preparations, and process departments budget transfers. Support payment and billing activities for business units. Interface with vendors and business units to resolve billing/payment problems. Create, entry, and track of all Purchase Requests, POs, and Check Requests. Coordinate activities between the Genesis departments and Finance; interact with Genesis/Financing/Accounting to review related budgets/spending & analysis. Support with all activities related to the preparation and submission of the Division's annual budget. Support month-end and year-end accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Assist management in the areas of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement analysis. Identify opportunities to streamline and automate existing processes to increase efficiency. Support management with initiatives and ad hoc projects, as needed. Timely completion of assigned tasks.

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Related Experience: Two to Four years of Finance or Accounting work experience. Automotive OEM experience a plus. Skill/Knowledge: Excellent problem solving, analytical skills, written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and time management skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to function as a reliable member of a team and proactively resolve problems. Strong computer skills SAP, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Physical requirements: Full time normal office duties.
