Job Advert Bedford Borough Council is looking for a Benefit Assessment Officer to join our busy team on a part‑time basis. The successful candidate will have experience of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support Legislation. Responsibilities include: Working under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Communicating with internal teams, customers and landlords. The team is currently hybrid; some scope for working from home, but you must be available in the office at Borough Hall, Bedford to undertake all required training. Contract Hours 24 hours per week Salary Range (pro rata for part time roles) £31,537 – £34,434 Benefits Bedford Borough Council offers standard benefits (details not provided).
