We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our small maintenance team, specializing in the repair and upkeep of automobiles. This role involves regular customer interaction and offers opportunities for technical specialization and career advancement within our organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment maintenance and repairs on automobiles and heavy machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine root causes
- Replace parts and components as needed
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Operate tools and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Maintain clear and frequent communication with customers regarding service status
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in mechanical repair
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in mechanical repair and diagnostic tools
- Experience with welding and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of safety compliance
- Excellent communication and time management skills
