HVAC Maintenance/Sales Trainer

Overview As an HVAC Maintenance/Sales Trainer, you will develop and deliver high-quality training programs to new and existing sales and service teams. Your goal is to ensure that all team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in both technical and customer‑focused areas of HVAC services. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for empowering others through training and mentorship. You will collaborate with leadership to continuously improve team performance, customer satisfaction, and overall efficiency. Pay Range: $130,000 USD – $150,000 USD. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging, comprehensive training sessions covering HVAC system fundamentals, service techniques, and sales strategies, adapted to various learning styles and knowledge levels. Lead hands‑on workshops that reinforce HVAC technical skills—including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures. Train technicians on HVAC product features, effective selling techniques, upselling opportunities, and customer service best practices to maximize client satisfaction and drive revenue growth. Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback through quizzes, practical demonstrations, and role‑play scenarios. Collaborate with sales, service, and operations managers to identify training needs and tailor content to address performance gaps or industry changes. Onboard new hires, ensuring they are fully equipped to perform their roles from day one. Monitor industry trends and incorporate new HVAC technologies and service techniques into training materials. Continuously improve training programs based on trainee and department lead feedback.Foster a positive learning environment that encourages teamwork, learning, and inclusion. Qualifications 5+ years of proven experience in HVAC sales, maintenance, and/or training. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sales, and customer service best practices. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Experience using learning management systems (LMS) or other training tools. Ability to motivate and engage team members with diverse learning styles. Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, often overnight.
