What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients in a fast-paced environment
• Monitor and operate advanced medical equipment including ventilators, dialysis machines, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps
• Perform lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts
• Float to other units such as ED or PACU, and occasionally to MS/PCU with patient ratios up to 1:4
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, including COVID-19 patient care, and be prepared to handle isolation cases
• Document all patient care activities accurately and efficiently

What You Need

• Valid Louisiana RN license or eligibility for licensure
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience with Epic EMR proficiency
• Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH certifications
• Ability to float to multiple units and handle complex critical care scenarios
• Strong clinical skills in lab procedures, airway management, and IV therapy
