What You'll Do

• Provide ICU patient care in a fast-paced environment, including those with Impella and CRRT/NXSTAGE devices
• Perform all lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts
• Monitor and operate advanced equipment: Alaris IV pumps, CADD PCA pumps, Servo I ventilators, Fresenius CRRT dialysis machines, Edwards Lifesciences cardiac monitors, GE monitors, Medtronic EVD management systems, Arctic Sun TMS, Hill-Rom beds, Pyxis medication stations, and Veratron bladder scanner
• Float to various ICU units, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU as needed, maintaining flexibility in patient ratios (1:2 to 1:4)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Comply with all infection control protocols, including care for isolation patients and N95 mask sizing

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible to licensure in Louisiana
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, CVICU experience highly preferred
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH (CPI available at facility for $100)
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required
• Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset
