Salary: $142,000 - 194,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 15 years of experience in construction project management.
• Alternatively, we accept a bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field plus 11 years of construction project management experience.
• Alternatively, we accept a masters degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field plus 9 years of construction project management experience.
• Alternatively, we accept a doctorate in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field plus 7 years of construction project management experience.
• Preferred: 16 years of construction project management experience.
• Preferred: a bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field plus 12 years of construction project management experience.
• Preferred: a masters degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field plus 10 years of construction project management experience.

• We provide strategic oversight and leadership for data center construction delivered by colocation providers, ensuring projects finish on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• We develop, maintain, and oversee project schedules and budgets to support effective delivery of key milestones.
• We create, review, and maintain documentation such as design reviews, commissioning materials, and problem-solving papers.
• We direct quality control processes so all construction work aligns with design specifications and industry standards.
• We coordinate and integrate tenant fit-out efforts across design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• We conduct site walks to monitor progress, coordination, schedule adherence, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• We lead startup and commissioning activities for major data center projects, ensuring systems are operational and meet design intent.
• We assess project risk profiles, identify gaps in risk mitigation, and drive company-wide actions to close those gaps.
• We develop and execute mitigation plans for major construction risks.
• We serve as the primary point of contact between us and colocation providers, managing escalations and high-risk matters.
• We build and sustain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support long-term organizational goals.
• We oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of vendor, contractor, and supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and performance.
• We work with design teams to ensure construction activities match approved plans and specifications.
• We provide provider evaluation input to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• We oversee the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.
• We manage timelines, deliverables, and budgets for high-impact initiatives and adjust plans as business priorities change.
• We influence cross-functional leaders and external partners to align on strategic objectives.
• We lead advanced problem-solving for complex issues and help implement durable solutions.
• We share industry expertise, support knowledge transfer, and contribute to thought leadership and professional development.
• We develop and implement process improvements, define success metrics, and evaluate the impact of operational enhancements.
