Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including in-depth physical examinations and comprehensive medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical ailments through the analysis of imaging and laboratory results
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement customized surgical treatment plans for each patient
• Provide essential support during operations, such as preparing the surgical environment, ensuring proper patient alignment, and skillfully managing instruments throughout the procedure
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, covering medication management, wound care procedures, discharge planning, and crucial patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
