Job Description

Our client is seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to support its Meals on Wheels program. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service while coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely meal delivery and issue resolution. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, highly organized, and passionate about making a positive impact in the community.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming client calls regarding meal delivery, service concerns, and program inquiries.
• Document client issues, coordinate with staff, and ensure concerns are resolved promptly.
• Maintain accurate client records, process status updates, and prepare monthly reports.
• Provide referrals to community resources and assist with intake functions as needed.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties to support the daily operations of the Meals on Wheels program.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of customer service and clerical experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn new databases quickly.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.

The base pay range for this position is $18.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
