About the Role

The Company is seeking new board members to join its dedicated team. As a board member, you will play a crucial role in guiding the organization's mission, strategy, and long-term stewardship of the land. This includes supporting the financial health of the organization, serving as an ambassador to the community, and working with fellow board members and staff to advance conservation and community programs. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is passionate about local green space and is willing to actively contribute to the organization's efforts. While conservation expertise is not required, experience in finance, fundraising, communications, law, marketing, or community organizing is particularly valuable. The company is looking for individuals who are ready to engage, attend quarterly board meetings, and participate in at least one committee. The successful candidate will be a key part of the company's 35-year legacy and will help shape its future. Responsibilities include attending quarterly board meetings, signing up for at least one committee, and contributing a minimum of $100 annually.
