Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar is a dining establishment situated in the heart of downtown Charleston, dedicated to serving fresh, locally sourced, sustainable seafood. Our Raw Bar showcases an extensive array of oysters sourced from local suppliers and renowned providers along the East Coast. Additionally, our daily raw bar offerings include local clams, tuna carpaccio, and shrimp ceviche. We take pride in bolstering Charleston's local fishing industry by offering a selection of fresh fish, all while maintaining a menu that evolves with the seasons, featuring an array of delectable seafood options such as oysters, clams, shrimp, and mu

As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive.
- Manage the waitlist and seating chart to ensure efficient table turnover.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand.
- Buss, clean and properly reset tables.
- Communicate with servers and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in resolving guest concerns with professionalism and care.
- Answering phone calls, taking reservations, and answering questions.
- Knowledgeable in all the menus (Lunch, Dinner, Bar Beverage Menu, Kid's menu)
- Help with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
- Most importantly, providing excellent customer service.
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends & holidays.
