Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00/5:00 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on individual needs and goals, and in alignment with physician directives. This role involves the delegation and direction of therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs aimed at a successful return to community activities. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers while maintaining professional standards and compliance with the organization's code of conduct.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and formulate appropriate treatment plans and goals.

Document medical records clearly, accurately, and timely, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and clinic guidelines.

Provide supervision and mentorship to students within the student program.

Create and pursue a professional development plan to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Adhere to the state practice act and maintain licensure in good standing.

Participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.

Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.

CPR certification.

Experience in orthopaedics is required.
