Job Details Join Jefferson Health New Jersey s nocturnist team, providing dedicated overnight inpatient care in our South Jersey acute care hospitals. This role involves twelve-hour shifts per month (7 p m 7 a m), offering a supportive and sustainable work schedule. Job Description Overnight Admissions & Inpatient Care: Evaluate and admit patients from the ED, conduct night rounds, and manage care for previously admitted patients. Cross-Coverage Support: Provide backup to APPs, assist with ICU needs including rapid responses and Code Blue events. Clinical Supervision (Optional Academic Track): Supervise residents and support triage and admissions for teaching teams three nocturnists typically cover each night. Team Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, specialists, social work) and ensure comprehensive transitions at shift change. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain thorough charting of histories, physicals, daily notes, and plans of care, ensuring compliance and accurate comorbidity coding. Compensation Salary range – $240,000 – $330,000.00.
