Job Title: Harness Design Engineer
Location: Griffin, GA

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain wiring harnesses, cables, and electrical schematics for marine engines and gensets.
• Create and release harness assembly drawings, wiring groups, and related components.
• Develop and maintain EDS and GPGR models.
• Support new product development and engineering changes.
• Conduct design reviews and technical presentations.
• Provide troubleshooting support to assembly, quality, and harness suppliers.
• Create drawing deviations, ACNs, and engineering documentation.
• Develop harness design best practices and support team training.
  
  
  
  

Required Skills:

• BSEE/BSME or equivalent.
• 5 7 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Caterpillar experience strongly preferred.
• Strong wiring harness design experience.
• Creo / ProE / AutoCAD.
• Caterpillar EDS and Teamcenter.
• Electrical schematic development and interpretation.
• APQP and PPAP knowledge.
• Electronic troubleshooting experience.
• CAT Engines/Gensets experience preferred.
• CAT ET experience preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
