The Insights & Analytics Practice Lead is responsible for building, leading, and growing a Life Sciences Insights & Analytics practice that delivers strategic consulting, data-driven decision support, advanced analytics, and technology-enabled solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare organizations.

This leadership role combines practice management, client engagement, solution development, business development, and delivery oversight. The Practice Lead will define service offerings, develop go-to-market strategies, build high-performing analytics teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to client executives across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, and Corporate Functions.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership

• Define and execute the vision, strategy, and growth plan for the Insights & Analytics practice.

• Develop consulting offerings aligned to life sciences industry needs.

• Build and manage a team of consultants, data scientists, analysts, architects, and engagement leaders.

• Establish practice methodologies, delivery standards, accelerators, and best practices.

• Maintain ownership of practice P&L, utilization, revenue growth, and client satisfaction metrics.

Client Advisory & Consulting

• Serve as a strategic advisor to pharmaceutical and biotech executives.

• Lead executive workshops focused on analytics strategy, digital transformation, and data-driven decision-making.

• Translate business challenges into actionable analytics and technology solutions.

• Develop executive-level recommendations supported by quantitative analysis and business insights.

Commercial Analytics

• Lead engagements supporting:

• Sales Force Effectiveness

• Omnichannel Analytics

• HCP Segmentation & Targeting

• Customer Journey Analytics

• Marketing Effectiveness

• Market Access Analytics

• Forecasting & Demand Planning

• Guide development of:

• Identify innovative ways to leverage AI and advanced analytics within life sciences organizations.

Data & Technology Strategy

• Define enterprise analytics architectures and data modernization roadmaps.

• Support implementation and optimization of:

• Partner with Data Engineering and Enterprise Architecture teams to enable scalable analytics platforms.

Business Development

• Develop and maintain executive relationships within client organizations.

• Identify and qualify new consulting opportunities.

• Lead proposal development, SOW creation, solution pricing, and client presentations.

• Support account expansion initiatives across existing clients.

• Contribute thought leadership through white papers, conference presentations, and industry publications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Life Sciences, or related field.

• 12+ years of experience in life sciences analytics, commercial operations, consulting, or data strategy.

• 5+ years leading consulting practices, analytics organizations, or large delivery teams.

• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization and commercial operations.

• Experience managing executive client relationships.

• Demonstrated success leading multi-million-dollar consulting engagements.

• Proven ability to build and scale teams and service offerings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Public Health, Life Sciences, or MBA.

• Experience with life sciences consulting firms such as IQVIA, Accenture, ZS, Cognizant, Deloitte, Capgemini, Slalom, or EVERSANA.

• Experience supporting pharmaceutical commercial, medical affairs, market access, and patient support functions.

• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics platforms.

• Strong public speaking and thought leadership experience.
