Onsite Sr. Inventory Coordinator

The Opportunity: In this role, you will report to the Onsite Supervisor and will work closely with the Avantor's Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science. Strong computer literacy and experience working with various software systems. Ability to manage and maintain stock levels in a high-powered environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures and protocols. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Prior experience in lab inventory management or a related field is a plus How you will thrive and create an impact Avantor's Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role you will: Place orders in the necessary computer systems (Inventory Manager (IM), SAP). Assist in the set-up of new stocking locations. Receive, inspect, label, organize, and put away orders from RDC and direct from supplier shipments. Monitor and update signage and labels as needed Review, maintain, and adjust inventory stocking levels according to demand increases and decreases. Monitor Received Stock, UOM, and 90 Day No Move reports monthly. Review backorders daily. Assist end users with sourcing products, expediting, and various other customer service needs. Utilize IM and SAP to source requests and needs. Ensure 5S principles are followed in managing the POU inventory Respond to all emails and voicemails regarding all business questions promptly and professionally with a proper answer or direction. Enter or delete products from the Inventory Manager system using the Change Control Form as needed.
