The Medical Front Desk Receptionist will support a small care team by coordinating front-office operations for approximately 25–50 patients each day. This role will use an electronic health records (EHR) and practice-management system to manage patient access, registration, communication, insurance details, and payments.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage patient appointments.
- Process patient check-ins efficiently and accurately.
- Verify insurance information and eligibility.
- Complete patient registration using the EHR and practice-management system.
- Manage incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Collect patient payments and process transactions accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in medical front desk administration.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of insurance verification, patient registration, and appointment scheduling.
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
