Position Description Support the launch of Illinois' statewide health insurance marketplace, Get Covered Illinois, in partnership with the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services. Complete required training to become a licensed health navigator, maintaining certification and licensing throughout employment. Conduct outreach and education to raise awareness about health coverage options, including Qualified Health Plans and Medicaid. Our Values Dedication: Providing effective leadership and quality care. Compassion: Embracing diversity and individual needs. Responsibilities Complete licensing training and maintain certification. Provide fair, accurate, and impartial information on health benefits. Assist individuals in selecting appropriate health plans or Medicaid. Refer clients to state agencies for grievances or questions. Conduct outreach in diverse communities, including LEP populations. Complete reports and participate in trainings and meetings. Enroll uninsured and underinsured individuals. Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet community needs.
