Unit Care Coordinator (Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN)

The LPN Unit Care Coordinator supervises and manages patient care on their unit, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and standards. Requires an accredited LPN program, active license, and CPR certification; geriatric nursing experience preferred. Must demonstrate advanced knowledge, decision‑making skills, and adherence to policies and confidentiality. Key responsibilities include directing nursing staff, documenting care accurately, administering medications, coordinating care plans, and responding to emergencies. Provides excellent patient service, maintains dependable attendance, and works effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
