IT Applications Analyst (New Stores)

A Kforce retail client in Dublin, CA is currently looking for an IT Applications Analyst - New Store Openings - for a 3-month contract that is hybrid onsite 2-3 days per week. Must work with PST hours. Summary: The IT Applications Analyst will support technology initiatives related to new store openings, remodels, and store closures. This role will coordinate across IT teams, business partners, and external vendors to ensure systems, hardware, and technology deployments are completed successfully. Responsibilities include:

• Support end-to-end technology activities for new store openings, remodels, and store closures
• Coordinate hardware, packaged solutions, equipment orders, shipments, and deployments
• Partner with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to manage project activities and resolve issues
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, estimates, and documentation
• Support testing, deployment, and change management activities
• Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and appropriate escalation paths
• Support existing production systems and related enhancements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• 3-5+ years of experience supporting IT systems, applications, or technology projects
• Experience implementing or supporting hardware and packaged technology solutions
• Experience coordinating across multiple IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
• Experience with risk identification, issue management, and escalation
• Strong project coordination and project management skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience supporting a multi-location retail environment is strongly preferred
• Experience with store openings, remodels, closures, or retail technology deployments is a plus
