Position Overview

We are seeking a Robotics Engineer to develop and implement advanced robotic and autonomous systems. This role involves designing, integrating, and validating robotics hardware and software solutions, including perception, planning, navigation, control, and autonomous decision-making capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mobile robotic systems, simulation environments, and real-world field testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate autonomous robotic algorithms for perception, planning, navigation, and control.
• Design, prototype, simulate, and test robotic systems in both laboratory and field environments.
• Integrate sensors, communication systems, and robotic platforms to support autonomous operations.
• Develop software solutions using C++, Python, ROS, and robotic simulation tools.
• Conduct signal processing and data analysis to support robotics applications.
• Generate technical reports, research publications, presentations, and project documentation.
• Contribute to research proposals, white papers, and customer deliverables.
• Lead technical efforts and support the development of innovative engineering solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and researchers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Experience with ROS, Linux, Gazebo, SCRIMMAGE, or similar robotic simulation environments.
• Experience developing and testing algorithms on real-world robotic platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Multi-robot systems
• Path planning and autonomous navigation
• Vehicle control and state estimation
• Behavior-based robotics
• Machine learning for robotic control
• Experience with rapid prototyping and real-time robotic systems.
• Strong record of research, publications, or advanced algorithm development.
• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.

Travel

• Occasional travel (10%–25%) as required.
