Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments. Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning to keep machines in top condition. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently. Maintain accurate records of production runs and machine settings for quality assurance. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Qualifications Experience in operating multi‑spindle screw machines, including Acmes, New Britains, Euroturns, and Davenports. Ability to change and grind form tools, drills, and cutoffs with precision. Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues efficiently. Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators to verify part specifications. Skill in maintaining tool sharpness and making necessary adjustments for part conformity. Understanding of safety rules, machine instructions, and procedure manuals to ensure a safe work environment. Familiarity with Statistical Process Control techniques for quality assurance purposes.
