Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Uphold patient comfort and safety throughout all procedures, providing clear communications and empathetic care
• Work closely with radiologists and attending physicians to guarantee the clarity of diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment while promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Accurately document imaging procedures and manage patient records utilizing an electronic medical system
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
