Position Overview

We're seeking a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Specialist to join our expanding team of imaging experts delivering exceptional patient care. You'll harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic procedures, partner with a collaborative team of medical professionals, and provide reassurance to patients through precise and prompt imaging.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, articulating each step with empathy and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to achieve optimal diagnostic results
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring prompt reporting of any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain thorough patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and clinical best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferable

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
