Description – What You'll Do

• Evaluate results for precision, rectify discrepancies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and ensure samples are primed for testing as needed.
• Document all procedures comprehensively, train newcomers or interns, and maintain high lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean, safe working environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within one year of hiring.
• Maintain active certification throughout the duration of employment.
