FOH Manager

KNEAD Hospitality + Design | Philadelphia, PA

Mi Casa , a new concept from KNEAD Hospitality + Design , is coming to Philadelphia, and we are looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to join our opening team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who wants to be part of building something from the ground up. As an FOH Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to establish service standards, develop the team, and help create the culture and guest experience that will define Mi Casa from day one.

The Opportunity

As a member of the opening management team, you will play a hands-on role in preparing the restaurant for opening and establishing the systems, standards, and culture that will carry forward after launch.

You will:

• Assist with the pre-opening process, including training, service development, and operational preparation
• Lead and develop the front-of-house team, creating a culture centered around hospitality, teamwork, and accountability
• Be a visible, hands-on leader during service and help ensure consistently exceptional guest experiences
• Maintain high standards for service, cleanliness, organization, and presentation
• Support FOH scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management
• Work closely with the culinary and management teams to ensure seamless communication and execution
• Help establish and maintain restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards
• Monitor guest feedback and proactively address opportunities to improve the experience
• Assist with labor management, sales initiatives, and other key operating priorities
• Support private events and special functions
• Help build a strong team culture and develop future leaders within the organization

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in an upscale or high-volume environment
• Previous opening experience is strongly preferred
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• A hands-on management style and a strong presence on the floor
• The ability to lead calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to developing people and building strong teams
• Strong attention to detail and operational follow-through
• Familiarity with POS and restaurant management systems
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
