Annual Salary Estimate: $74,430 - $101,790 ( $39.75-$54.25 per hour )

As a night-shift ER nurse, you'll be at the heart of delivering time-sensitive, life-sustaining treatment to patients in need.

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide Urgent, Patient-Focused Care:


Assess incoming patients rapidly, prioritize based on acuity, and provide efficient, skilled nursing interventions.


Stabilize & Monitor Critical Conditions:


Manage trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and other emergencies. Administer medications, fluids, and treatments while monitoring for changes in condition.


Collaborate in Real-Time:


Work in close coordination with physicians, EMTs, and support staff to ensure accurate and timely execution of care plans.


Communicate & Support:


Offer clear explanations and reassurance to patients and families. Ensure safe transitions to inpatient units or discharge with appropriate education.


Maintain Emergency Standards:


Follow strict documentation practices, maintain infection control protocols, and contribute to the safety and effectiveness of the ER unit.


Requirements

Licensure & Certifications:

• Current New York State RN license (or eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS preferred

Education:

• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN or BSN)

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in an Emergency Room, ICU, or urgent care setting
• Strong clinical assessment and triage abilities
• Confident in fast-paced, unpredictable environments
• Effective teamwork and time management skills
