Radiology Image Library Abington Weekend Abington, Abington Township, PA, USA Job Description Our Jobologi team is seeking an Entry Level Radiology Image Library Associate for our Saturday and Sunday 8am-6pm. The Radiology Image Library Associate is a key component of the Radiology Department. They are instrumental in the patient experience and helping the Radiologist maintain a smooth and efficient workflow. In this role, you will work closely with patients, doctors, and other hospital staff both inside and outside of the hospital system. You will gain experience with healthcare related technologies such as Electronic Health Record system (EHR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Job Responsibilities Greet and check‑in patients arriving for medical imaging procedures. Take phone calls from patients requesting imaging records, including preparing the requests for pick‑up or mail‑out. Ensure all forms required for release of medical records are completed before releasing imaging records. Upload medical imaging studies performed at outside healthcare facilities for patients, creating required orders in the EHR system. Image Library Import images and reports from outside healthcare providers. Transfer images and reports to other healthcare providers, ensuring proper documentation is received for release of images and recording in the patient’s chart. Assist with legal requests. De‑identify imaging for research studies. Monitor work queues for failed automated faxes communicating results reports, contact provider for correct fax number and resend fax, document communication and open a ticket to have the fax number updated. Teamwork Build positive relationships with colleagues. Coach and/or mentor peers, formally or informally. Assist others in acquiring department‑specific knowledge, skills, and abilities. Required Skills Good verbal and communication skills; accurate documentation skills; ability to read and correctly pronounce medical terminology; excellent phone etiquette. Proficiency with computers to navigate and enter data on multiple IT systems and radiology‑centric systems. Ability to multitask and handle acute, stressful, and busy periods with task completion accuracy. Capacity to work efficiently and professionally with minimum supervision. Quick learner of new procedures, with compassion and empathy. Work Hours Saturday and Sunday 8am–6pm.
