Registered Nurse - Infusion

$2040.00/week - Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oncology/Infusion RN to provide specialized patient care in an outpatient infusion center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology infusions and outpatient nursing, ensuring safe and effective treatment administration to chemotherapy and immunotherapy patients. Responsibilities: Administer biotherapy including active immunotherapy, Interferons, and Interleukins, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor and recognize side effects associated with cytotoxic therapy and immunotherapy, intervening promptly as needed. Manage infusion procedures for patients with various cancers, including bladder, kidney, brain, breast, colorectal, and blood dyscrasias. Document patient care accurately in Cerner system and maintain compliance with facility policies. Educate patients on treatment plans, side effects, and post-infusion care. Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient schedules and optimize treatment efficiency. Qualifications: Hold a current RN license; WV or Compact license preferred. Possess a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in oncology or infusion. Demonstrate experience in outpatient infusion center settings with infusion procedures. Certified in BLS; Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) required; OCN preferred. Capable of managing complex treatment regimens and recognizing side effects.
