Oncology/Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day Shift: 5x8 hours (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM)
We are seeking a qualified Oncology/Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient oncology setting, administering chemotherapies and managing patient responses while working with a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments in accordance with protocols.
- Monitor patients for side effects and manage symptoms effectively.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner software.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in oncology specialty.
- Active RN license in state or compact state.
- Current certifications: BLS, Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC). OCN preferred.
- Experience in infusion center and outpatient oncology practice.
