• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ needs, identify clinical diagnoses, and formulate effective treatment plans that meet their individual goals.

• Provide therapeutic interventions through individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

• Deliver immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records through secure electronic health record (EHR) systems, documenting treatment progress, interventions, and assessment findings in line with ethical standards.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate patients’ care and provide holistic treatment approaches.
\n
• Engage in client and family education on mental health challenges, coping strategies, and available community resources, serving as an advocate for clients’ rights and needs.
\n
• Continuously stay updated on current trends and best practices in mental health therapy through participation in ongoing training initiatives, workshops, and seminars.

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, reflecting the multicultural community within Kirkland and beyond. Our client base includes individuals facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, and various other mental health conditions. You will adapt your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique cultural and individual needs of each client, providing them with the skills and support necessary for navigating life’s challenges.

• Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist, specifically in one of the following: LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required to ensure depth of knowledge.

• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills essential for evaluating and understanding client needs.

• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a clinical mental health setting, showcasing your ability to effectively engage with clients.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building rapport with clients, families, and team members.

• A commitment to ethical practice and professionalism, aligning with the core values of our organization.

• Experience with evidence-based therapies and familiarity with electronic health record systems is highly preferred.

This position offers an attractive annual salary range of $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a competitive sign-on bonus.
