What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients, respecting their privacy and dignity
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans using the nursing process
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Document patient care accurately in EPIC and other software
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond swiftly to changes
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families about care procedures and discharge instructions

What You Need

Required:
  • Current Louisiana RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • CPI certification (12-month blue card)
  • At least 2 years of RN experience with ICU background
  • Strong communication, judgment, and computer skills
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Experience with EPIC documentation and specialized ICU procedures

About the Assignment This position involves providing specialized critical care in a busy ICU environment. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to critically ill patients. The role involves adapting to patient-specific needs, utilizing advanced monitoring techniques, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
