Hourly Pay Rate: $63.65

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to Level 3 NICU patients, including pre-term and surgical neonates
  • Monitor patient status using bedside telemetry and EMR systems
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including respiratory therapists, PT/OT, nurse practitioners, and CRNAs
  • Administer medications, IVs, and other treatments using Alaris pumps and Pyxis dispensers
  • Support and educate families of neonatal patients
  • Follow facility protocols for infection control and safety during COVID-19
  • Document patient care accurately and timely in Meditech Expanse EMR system

What You Need

Required:

  • Valid RN license in Louisiana
  • BLS, NRP, NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 1 year NICU experience or higher
  • Ability to work nights and rotate weekends

Preferred:

  • Experience with Level 3 NICU or similar high-acuity neonatal units
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

This role involves caring for pre-term and surgical patients within a Level 3 NICU designated as Birth Ready and Acute Stroke Ready.
