As a respiratory therapist in Delaware City, you will be a vital part of a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to improving the respiratory health of patients. What you'll do:

Assess and treat respiratory conditions: evaluate the respiratory health of patients and develop personalized treatment plans to meet their needs.
Administer respiratory therapies: provide oxygen therapy, nebulization, mechanical ventilation, and other necessary treatments to improve lung function and overall health.
Monitor and track progress: keep detailed records of patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
Educate patients and families: offer guidance on managing respiratory conditions and provide information about lifestyle adjustments to improve health.
Collaborate with healthcare teams: work alongside physicians, nurses, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive care to patients.

What we're looking for:

Education: graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
Licensing: active respiratory therapist (RT) license in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain).
Experience: prior clinical experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills: strong communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Certifications: additional certifications (e.g., pediatric/neonatal care, pulmonary function testing) are a plus.
