Accounts Payable Clerk

FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community!Position Summary: Supports, assists and acts as a back-up to Accounts Payable Manager with all aspects of Accounts Payable. Assists with monthly reconciliations.Specific Duties/ResponsibilitiesProcesses purchase requestsPlaces online ordersProcesses vendor invoicesScans and saves vendor invoices and purchase requests electronicallyAssists with weekly disbursement check runAssists with annual 1099 reportingAssists and/or processes employee travel and miscellaneous reimbursementsAssists with reconciling vendor accountsAssists with month’s closingAssists Accountants with sorting Accounts Payable issuesSpecial projects/other duties and assignments as requestedQualifications:Two years of Accounts Payable experience required.Accounting certificate or Associates degree in accounting/finance preferred.Strong communication skills (written and oral) ability to communicate in a diplomatic, friendly, yet effective manner with all staff throughout the agency.Knowledge of automated accounting systems, preferably Great Plains.Knowledge of computer applications, especially Excel.Attention to detail, organization and documentation skills, problem solving, coordination, and ability to stay focused and prioritize.Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented department with a mindset of customer service and team work.Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base payPhysical Requirements: (With or without reasonable accommodation):This position may require:Travel to and from office sites which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators.Ability to lift up to 20lbs.Don’t meet every single requirement?
