Registered Nurse CVICU

CVICU Registered NurseSeeking a highly skilled CVICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized cardiac critical care. This role involves managing complex cardiovascular patients and supporting post-surgical recovery.Responsibilities:Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients in the CVICU.Monitor patient status using A-Lines, Swan-Ganz, thermodilution PA catheters, and other invasive devices.Administer medications via drips, vents, sheaths, dialysis, and perform ABG draws.Respond to patient emergencies, interpret EKG strips, and manage hemodynamic monitoring.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.Qualifications:Valid RN license with current state or compact certification.Minimum of 1 year of dedicated CVICU experience.Proficiency in EPIC charting and critical care technologies.BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.Experience with Impella, post-cardiac surgery (from and not directly from OR), cardiac cath/interventions, and pulmonary artery monitoring preferred.Ability to interpret EKG strips and manage complex cardiac interventions.Benefits & Growth:Access to ongoing professional development and training opportunities.Work in a dynamic, prestigious critical care environment with diverse patient cases.Benefits:Day 1 Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceTravel reimbursement for assignmentsPaid sick leave and additional valuable benefitsAccess to our $1,000 Inspire a Friend Referral ProgramWhy TactStaff?Choosing TactStaff means partnering with a team that understands the unique demands and rewards of CVICU.
