Creative Services Manager

The role We’re hiring a Creative Services Manager to run the operations behind Markstein’s creative work. Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, you’ll own traffic, project management and vendor management across our design, copy, earned media, digital marketing and website teams. You’ll be the hub between account leads, creatives, clients and outside partners, turning requests into clear plans, realistic schedules and finished work. Basic hands‑on design skills let you make quick edits, prep files and speak the team’s language. What you’ll do Traffic & Project management Manage intake for all creative requests, turning them into clear tasks with scope, deliverables and deadlines Assign work across design, copy, earned media, digital marketing and websites based on capacity, skills and priority Run weekly traffic meetings and keep a single, current view of everything in production Route work through internal review, client approval and final proofing so nothing ships unchecked Serve as the day‑to‑day link between account leads, creatives and clients on status and feedback Co-manage the Monday.com project management system, templates and workflows, and improve them as the team grows Onboard and manage freelancers, printers, photographers, video crews and other partners Request bids and negotiate rates with partners Hands‑on support Make quick edits, resizes and file preparation in Adobe product suite Oversee brand libraries, asset archives and file systems in Monday.com and SharePoint What you bring 2–5 years of experience in creative operations, traffic or project management, ideally at an agency or in‑house creative team Proven ability to manage many concurrent projects, deadlines and stakeholders without dropping details Experience working across design, copy, PR/earned media, digital marketing and website workflows Experience managing vendors and freelancers, including bids, contracts and invoicing Basic working skills in Adobe Suite Comfort with project management tools such as Monday.com and SharePoint Clear, organized written and verbal communication Details Title: Creative Services Manager Reports to: Chris Hoke, Chief Creative Officer Works with: Design, copy, earned media and digital marketing teams; account leads; vendors Experience: 2–5 years Location: Markstein is based in Birmingham, AL, but this role is open to remote applicants who are available during regular working hours: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. CST.
