Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist in Brookfield, CT. This travel role involves working with Siemens Espree 1.5 equipment to ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality MR studies. Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Operate imaging and related equipment to provide high-quality diagnostic images.
• Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address concerns.
• Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection technique.
• Effective communication with customers and/or radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or patient coordinators.
• Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment to prevent downtime.

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• ARRT (R) (MR) certification required.
• Connecticut radiology license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of MR experience in high-volume environments preferred.
• Proficiency in running advanced MR studies independently.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed environment.
