• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Texas
• Recent experience providing OT services within school settings
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Familiarity with sensory integration, assistive technology, and adaptive strategies for school-aged children
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Day-to-day, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of students' motor skills, daily living abilities, and sensory processing needs
• Design and implement individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other therapists to maximize student participation and independence
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer guidance on OT matters
• Maintain accurate, timely records and progress reports
• Provide both direct therapy and consultations within classroom and group settings
• Offer training and support for educational staff on strategies to assist student progress
