Weekly pay: $2,113–$2,189 per week | Guaranteed hours: 0.0 | Setting: inpatient hospital with 24/7 in-house Respiratory Therapy coverage
Facility: 100-bed community hospital serving a broad patient population, with responsibilities across ICU, ER, Med/Surg, Pediatrics and newborn stabilization
- Weekly pay: $2,113–$2,189 per week
- Shift: 3x12 Days
- Start date: 09/28/2026
- 24/7 in-house Respiratory Therapy coverage
- Inpatient hospital setting with care across ICU, ER, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, and newborn stabilization
- Potential extension opportunities; travel assignment in a community hospital Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory therapy services in an inpatient setting across ICU, ER, Med/Surg, Pediatrics and newborn stabilization, with adult population emphasis
- Manage ventilators (invasive and noninvasive), assist with weaning and troubleshoot high-pressure alarms; operate and monitor HFNC, BiPAP, CPAP, and tracheostomy/ T-piece therapy
- Perform airway management tasks, including suctioning and use of oral/nasal airways; administer nebulized/inhaled medications and MDI delivery
- Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and respond to acute changes in respiratory status; provide occasional basic EKG support as needed
- Provide newborn stabilization prior to transport; work independently or with a second therapist as patient needs dictate
- Chart care and outcomes in the electronic charting system (EPIC); adapt to unit needs and cross-cover as required Requirements
- NY State license in hand prior to submission
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP
- Minimum 1 year of experience; first-time traveler candidates accepted; community hospital experience required
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
- EPIC charting experience noted in the posting; confirm requirement with account manager
- Ability to work in a 24/7 inpatient hospital setting and participate in cross-unit coverage; comfortable with newborn stabilization prior to transport Benefits and Support
