Senior AccountantSanta Clara, CAAbout the RoleWe're seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This is a high-impact role with primary responsibility for managing the company's general ledger and the financial system. You will be a driving force behind the monthly and quarterly close processes, with a specific focus on maintaining rigorous controls over cash reconciliations and asset schedules. This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys a fast-growing environment and possesses the technical expertise to handle complex GAAP requirements.This role is onsite 5 days a week at our Santa Clara, CA office.What You'll DoFinancial Close & ReportingLead the Monthly Close: Ensure all financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP and delivered in a timely manner.Financial Analysis: Perform quarterly and yearly Balance Sheet (BS) and Profit & Loss (PL) flux analyses to explain variances and trends.Cash & Treasury ManagementDaily Reconciliation: Monitor and reconcile daily cash transactions, ensuring all bank activity is accurately mirrored in Netsuite.Monthly Bank Recs: Complete formal monthly bank reconciliations for all operating accounts, resolving any discrepancies immediately.Cash Forecasting: Conduct regular cash forecasting to ensure liquidity for operations.Asset & Expense ManagementPrepaid Expenses: Record and manage the full lifecycle of prepaid expenses. Maintain detailed amortization schedules and post monthly adjusting journal entries to the GL.Account Reconciliations: Prepare comprehensive reconciliations for fixed assets, accrued liabilities, and prepaids, ensuring all work papers are "audit-ready."Expense Compliance: Review and process employee expense reports via Concur, ensuring adherence to company policyCompliance & TaxTax Filings: Manage the execution of tax filings, including Sales & Use tax, property tax, and required local filingsWhat We're Looking ForExperience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.Technical Skills: Proficient in US GAAP and SEC standards. Hands-on experience with General Ledger management and audit work paper preparation.Software: Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) are required. Experience with Netsuite or similar mid-market ERPs is highly desirable.Education: Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is required.Preferred: Public accounting experience, CPA certification, and some cost accounting or international consolidation experience.Salary Range - $55/hr - $75/hr Gatik AI
