R&D Technician

The Fountain Group is currently seeking an R&D Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Plymouth, MN. Details for the position are as follows:
Pay Range: $25 - 32/hr depending on experience
Contract: 1 year (temp to hire)
M-F 1st shif t (start time can be between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM)

Job Description:

• Perform mechanical, electrical, conditioning, length, OD, and visual tests on medical devices
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation using good documentation practices
• Communicate clearly with engineers regarding test results and observations
• Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate safety equipment
• Utilize lab tools and equipment including calipers, MTS, multimeters, digital thermometers, force gauges, Cognex, LabView, and hand tools
• Maintain a work balance of approximately 85% lab time and 15% desk time (100% on-site)

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED required
• Mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
