Medical Lab Technologist

Labcorp seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist for the Swedish First Hill Hospital Lab in Seattle, Washington, working a 4x10 schedule (Friday-Monday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM). The role involves performing diagnostic testing procedures, operating laboratory instrumentation, and ensuring specimen quality and test accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex laboratory procedures
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper function
- Prepare, evaluate and test new reagents and quality control materials
- Generate accurate, timely test results and perform preventative maintenance procedures
- Maintain safe work environment and manage testing bench supplies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life science or medical technology
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Compensation: $34.25–$52.14 per hour
