Windows Software Engineer C# / C++

Salary: $85,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• We require legal authorization to work in the United States and are unable to sponsor employment visas for this role, now or in the future.
• We prefer at least 2 years of related experience.
• We look for strong proficiency in C, C++, and C# within the Microsoft development ecosystem.
• We value experience with manufacturing automation systems or industrial software.
• We prefer familiarity with SQL Server or comparable relational databases.
• We look for experience building high-availability, multi-threaded distributed systems.
• We value object-oriented programming expertise, software design principles, and version control tools such as Git.
• We prefer experience with Agile development practices and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
• A masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Industrial Engineering is a plus.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk products or similar industrial control platforms is preferred.
• Exposure to web technologies such as .NET, REST APIs, and JavaScript frameworks is beneficial.
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and automated testing frameworks is preferred.
• Experience using generative AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle is highly valued.

• We design, implement, test, and maintain software components using C, C++, and C# in a Windows environment.
• We help evolve the product architecture by applying mainstream design patterns and modern technologies.
• We collaborate with cross-functional partners in QA, UX, product management, and DevOps to deliver strong features.
• We support full-stack development across database, server, and web layers as needed.
• We contribute to Agile ceremonies and work with tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• We use Git, GitHub, and comparable tools for source control, branching, and code reviews.
• We write clean, maintainable code and help support continuous integration and delivery practices.
• We use generative AI tools available to us for all phases of the software development lifecycle.
