Coverage Needed

• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• End Date: Ongoing availability
• Schedule: Clinic 8a-4p, Night call 5p-8a, 24-hour call 7a-7a (1:6)
  • Minimum of 3 months of locum coverage is required
• On Call Requirements: 5-6 days/month minimum - any day (Mon-Sun)
• Open Dates:
  • August: 8/24-8/28, 8/31-9/4
  • September: 9/7-9/11, 9/14-9/18, 9/21-9/25
  • October: 10/12-10/16, 10/19-10/23, 10/26-10/30
  • November: 11/23-11/27

Clinical Details

• General urology care in clinic and on call
• Will be sole provider in a fast paced/busy dept
• Duties: Cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsy, TURP, uroflow/cuff, bladder scans, Ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, Cystectomy, ESWL, Botox injections
• Required Procedures: Bread and butter urology, robot available (robotic procedures not required)
• Patients per day: 20-25
• Number of surgeries: 20-30/month
• Call: When on call 20% of patients are new consults and 80% are established patients returning to the ED
  • Provider may take hospital call during clinic hours
• Admissions: Hospitalist team present
• Rounding: Locum will round
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: 2 RNs, MA, Surgery Scheduler, and 2 front office staff

Requirements

• Board Certified Urology (Highly Preferred) or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years upon residency completion)
• Active WA license (Highly Preferred) or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission)
• Active ACLS, BLS, DEA (will consider candidates who will obtain if selected)
• Ability to cover about 80% of the dates detailed (3-4 weeks)
• Clean Malpractice (Highly Preferred)
