Because we are passionate about building quality software, we invest heavily in automated testing, take code reviews seriously and prioritize refactoring.The Expertise You Have5+ years’ experience developing modern and responsive single-page web applications using Typescript stack like Angular (preferably Angular 9+).Comfortable integrating with REST APIs to access and retrieve data using NodeJS/NestJS based frameworks. Experience building GraphQL APIs is a big plus.In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 & CSS.Experience writing automated tests as part of development e.g. Jest and Cypress.Bonus points for AWS / Cloud experience.The Skills You BringYou are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and are adaptable to change.You embrace customer-first mentality and enjoy developing user-friendly web applications that solve real life problems.You have a passion for clean, maintainable code and are always looking to improve your engineering skills.You see testing as a core part of your development process.You collaborate with your peers through code reviews, pair programming or interactive discussions daily.You are comfortable working remotely, collaborating regularly with your peers through video and chat.The Value You DeliverDeveloping features for our web experiences using GraphQL/NestJS and Angular.Drive innovation to promote reuse in UI leveraging smart components and micro frontends.Taking stories from idea to implementation including work estimation, collaboration with our product team, development, testing, code review and deployment.Actively collaborating with the other engineers on the squad through code reviews, pair programming, interactive design sessions and team retrospectives.Developing automated tests using Jest, Cypress and other tools.Working with our product team to ensure we are building the right features based on scope and customer value.Contributing back to the team by developing solutions that help improve developer efficiency or sharing knowledge about new techniques and technologies.Required Skills: Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): • Angular – Typescript • CSS / HTML / Bootstrap • Node – Asynchronous • AWS – just need to have experience working on apps in production on AWS (look at logs in Splunk, find the issues) – ask about Ecs, Ec2 and s3. • Unit testing experience • Jenkins experience (UDeploy is nice, but another other deployment tools work) Nice-to-Haves (Concepts & Tools): • Monorepo • NestJS • GraphQL Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: REMOTE, long-term contract Background Check: Yes Drug Screen: Yes Software Technology, Inc.
