Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Progressive Care Unit position requiring at least 1 year of travel experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in a 30-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care/PCU within a hospital setting,
• Care for high-acuity patients including post open heart, post TAVR, post pacemaker, drip titrations, chest tubes, and BiPAP cases,
• 13-week contract with 36-48 hour weeks accepted,
• Shift schedule of 06:45-19:15,
• Every other weekend required,

Job Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required,
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required,
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start,
• Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address,

Additional Information

• Provide direct care to complex, high-acuity stepdown/PCU patients,
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate,
• COVID vaccination is not required,
• Candidates should begin discussing contract extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the assignment end date
